Meta’s Muse reportedly seeks bank, email, and passport data for AI training

Meta’s Muse app reportedly opts users into AI-training data collection while encouraging them to share bank-account, email, and passport information. That creates a sharp tradeoff: the app’s automation gets more useful as users connect the accounts and documents that expose the most about them.

Users describe running Muse through credit-card bills, financial apps, Gmail, reservations, and purchases. WIRED reported the three sensitive categories as bank, email, and passport data.
