Robinhood brings weekend stock trading and 10x perpetual contracts to one platform
Robinhood is putting weekend stock trading and leveraged perpetual contracts inside the same retail platform. The move pushes toward markets that stay open around the clock, but the stock feature covers only selected U.S. stocks and ETFs, not the entire equity market.
• Perpetual contracts have no expiry
• Profit and loss settles every 15 minutes
• Up to 10x leverage for eligible U.S. users
Robinhood announced the products at HOOD Summit, and Vlad Tenev described the contract terms on September 30, 2026. Bitstamp is handling the U.S. perpetual-contract rollout.
