Agility Robotics has $300 million in orders for up to 1,000 Digit 5 robots

Agility Robotics is putting Digit 5’s commercial rollout under the microscope on October 6, with customer deployments, autonomy, manufacturing scale and financial plans on the agenda ahead of a proposed public listing. The event moves the story beyond the robot’s September 15 reveal and toward whether Agility can actually build and deploy it at scale.

Agility reports roughly 65,000 hours of real-world Digit operation and more than $300 million in multi-year customer orders covering up to 1,000 robots. Digit 5 has a 50-pound payload, faster charging and support for multi-shift operation.
