OpenClaw voice calls now escalate to full agent mid-conversation

Voice calls aren’t stuck in a fast but shallow loop anymore. In OpenClaw’s 2026.4.24 release, Talk and Voice Call can hand off harder questions to the full agent, so a live conversation can jump from quick replies into actual tool use and deeper reasoning without breaking flow.

This landed after four releases in five days (April 20-24), alongside DeepSeek V4 Flash and Pro, better browser automation with coordinate clicks and recovery, and a pile of fixes across Telegram, Slack, MCP, sessions, and TTS. The split is the point: keep latency low for simple turns, then escalate when the task actually needs the full stack.
