Injective’s Meridian upgrade brings compliance rules to tokenized assets
Injective has moved regulated tokenized assets and private institutional trading from the roadmap onto its live network. The Meridian mainnet upgrade passed with roughly 99% support and adds token standards that build compliance rules into regulated real-world assets and securities.
BSCNews reported that Meridian also starts the alpha track for CypherOS, Injective’s native onchain privacy platform, alongside new RFQ perpetual markets and a broader role for INJ. Deployment temporarily halted the chain, while Coinbase, Binance, Kraken, Upbit, Bithumb, OKX, and Bybit supported the upgrade.
