Meta expected to unveil camera-free smart glasses at Connect 2026

Meta is expected to show its first camera-free smart glasses at Connect 2026, giving the company an AI wearable that avoids one of the biggest privacy objections to camera-based glasses. The event is also expected to bring next-generation glasses, Project Phoenix updates, and new Muse features for navigation, live AI, health connectivity, Strava, and Shazam. Meta shares rose 11.4% ahead of Connect 2026.
