Cloudflare open-sources Clef models for AI agent decisions

Cloudflare released two open-source models built for the small decisions that keep AI agents moving: Clef and Clef-flash. They handle high-speed classification, routing, approvals, and tool selection instead of generating open-ended text. Cloudflare says the models combine fast inference with strong benchmark quality and latency. Both run on Workers AI, with weights available through Hugging Face.
