Robinhood plans thousands of stock tokens, including private companies

Robinhood is planning to expand its stock-token lineup from roughly 200 assets to thousands and tokenize private companies through Robinhood Chain. That pushes the product beyond a small crypto-market experiment toward broader public- and private-market access on the company’s own blockchain. Private firms have already approached Robinhood, while the chain is processing more than $1 billion in daily perpetuals volume. Robinhood says it buys and holds the underlying shares in custody.
