OpenAI will test ads beside ChatGPT-generated images
OpenAI plans to show visual ads next to ChatGPT-generated images while they load. The ads will sit outside the image itself, so they will not be baked into the output or used to change ChatGPT’s answers.
The test is set for U.S. users later this month with a limited group of advertisers. Haus, Measured and WorkMagic will run ad-effectiveness experiments, while DoubleVerify and Integral Ad Science handle brand-suitability testing.
