X users can now invoke Grok directly from posts, replies, and quote posts by tagging @bot. That moves AI tasks into the conversation itself instead of sending users to a separate bot interface.
The commands go beyond summarizing a thread: Grok can draft a reply, add content to a Notion reading list, or set a reminder. The rollout was reported live on October 6, 2026.
