Google pushes Gemini 4 Argon into Search, apps and coding tools
Google is putting Gemini 4 Argon into Search, the Gemini app, developer tools and third-party coding environments at launch. That makes this more than a model release: the same system is being pushed across consumer and professional workflows from day one.
Argon’s rollout started through the Gemini API, Gemini app, Search and Antigravity, then expanded to Cursor and OpenCode. Google reports 35% more agentic code and 30% fewer post-submit rollbacks in testing across its own codebases. Cursor reported a 52.8% CursorBench score at default effort, matching Opus 5.5, with pricing of $2 per million input tokens and $10 per million output tokens. Antigravity access reached paid Google AI Pro subscribers with a separate weekly quota on October 15, 2026.
